Skye Bank Launches Customer Care Centre
Skye Bank Plc has launched a public-friendly customer care centre to serve as a one-stop centre for all service matters that are capable of creating a delightful customer experience. The innovation, known as the Yes Centre, will enhance customer satisfaction and experience.
The Yes Centre has a full complement of professional customer service officers as well as the necessary infrastructure to serve the customer without him coming to the banking hall. The centre will resolve complaints, carry out instructions on behalf of customers who are not physically present, among others.
Speaking at the formal launching ceremony of the centre in Lagos on Wednesday, the bank’s Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Akinsola Akinfemiwa, said the bank was extending the frontiers of creativity in service delivery and customer service.
Akinfemiwa described the centre as an integrated multi-channel customer interactive system designed to bring convenience, comfort and ease to the customer in his day-to-day transaction and relationship with the bank.
Akinfemiwa described the centre as one that would provide support for the customer , enhance customer service , relationship management as well as make the bank much more accessible.
The bank boss noted that the invention would add value to the customer, employees as well as meet the needs of all parties in a transaction.
Explaining the features of the centre earlier, the Bank’s Head of Customer Experience Management, Mrs Ope Wemi-Jones, said with the centre, customers would be able to do inter account transaction, buy recharge cards, and pay for DSTV and other bills, without coming to the bank.
She said the Altigen platform in the centre supports phone service, e-mail, short message system with dedicated officers on hand to solve all issues that the customer may want resolved as well as providing constant updates to them.
The new customer centre is the first of its kind in the country and would go a long way in bringing bring about a new experience for the customers.
